May
- Filip Weisz spent two weeks in Professor Svärd’s laboratory at Uppsala University, Sweden, where he gained experience in Nanopore read analysis. The stay took place from 11 to 22 May 2026 and was supported by Erasmus+.
- Our research group was awarded a bilateral mobility grant with colleagues from the Robert Koch Institute, Berlin, Germany. The first kick-off meeting took place on 7–8 May 2026 at our institute.
- Aneta Perglerová actively participated in the 27th Student Research Conference organised by the First Faculty of Medicine, Charles University, held on 5 May 2026.

- Aneta Perglerová published her first scientific article in the International Journal for Parasitology: "Treatment-refractory giardiasis is predominantly an imported infection from South Asia associated with Giardia sub-assemblage BIII: a five-year study from the Czech Republic".
